JOB TITLE:  ASSISTANT MANAGER                                                                       PRIMARY LOCATION:  BEDFORD PARK                                                                     DIVISION:  LOGISTICS AND MANUFACTURING SUPPORT                                                                                                                             Location Description:  Established in 2003 the Chicago Cross Dock is a just-in-time (JIT) logistics warehouse for Toyota Motors North America and Toyota Motors International.

Work Schedule:  Must be open to first (Tuesday - Saturday) or second shift (Monday - Friday) as well as overtime. 

Job Summary:  This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing all operations of the assigned shift for the Chicago Cross Dock.  The position is to ensure continuous improvement of safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance. 

Primary Duties:  Directs the work of assigned Group Leaders (2) and responsible for overall day-to-day shift operations.  Responsible for initiating discipline and appraisal of work group.  Assist and support the development of facility strategy to maximize sales and achieve KPI targets. Monitors and reviews expenses such as TM hours, cost of supplies, etc…and provides feedback to ensure budgets are met.  Communicates with subordinates, peers, management, vendors and customers. 

Qualifications Required:  Bachelors degree or equivalent with at least 6-9 years experience, including supervisory experience.  General knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

INDIANA

JOB TITLE:  BI-LINGUAL SALES ENGINEER                                                                        PRIMARY LOCATION:  LAFAYETTE                                                                     DIVISION:  LOGISTICS AND MANUFACTURING SUPPORT                                                 Location Description:  Established in 2006 the Lafayette warehouse currently provides sequencing, cross dock and tire mounting services for our customers on a just-in-time basis. 

Work Schedule:  Primarily days M-F; however some nights, weekends and overnight travel required. 

Job Summary:  This position identifies market opportunities from a technical perspective and coordinates with various resources to build customer relationships and develop solutions for our sales and marketing efforts. 

Primary Duties:  Assist Manager with problem solving and Kaizen work at existing operation.  Develops new business for location as well as establishes long term relationships with current customers and suppliers.  Translates Japanese/English for location to assist with local and overseas communication.  Assist Manager with planning, layout change and time studies for new projects.  Analyze sales numbers to ensure profitability. 

Qualifications Required:  Bachelors Degree in Business/Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience plus up to 3 years work experience.  Proficient in Microsoft Office products.  Able to travel overnight and overseas.  Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.  Fluent in verbal and written business Japanese as well as a solid understanding of Japanese business culture. 

Qualifications Desired:  Basic CAD or Visio. Ability to move from the Lafayette area in the future.

Primary Job Duties:  Directs the work of assigned shift for approximately 25 employees.  Responsible for discipline and appraisal of work group members.  Oversees the day-to-day operations, training and development of staff.  Responsible for assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.  Communicates with subordinates, peers, management and customers.    

Qualifications Required:   Associates Degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years experience, including supervisory.  Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.  Ability to problem solve and organize work.

KENTUCKY

JOB TITLE:  LOGISTICS SPECIALIST                                                                       PRIMARY LOCATION:  GEORGETOWN                                                                    DIVISION:  LOGISTICS AND MANUFACTURING SUPPORT                                      Location Description:  Established in 1986; the Georgetown facility is the Corporate Headquarters of Toyota Tsusho America.  Our 75-acre campus houses a variety of business functions including steel processing, warehousing, auto parts distribution, logistics and corporate services. 

Work Schedule:   M-F; however some nights and weekends and overnight travel required. 

Job Summary:  This position supports the operations groups by creating and updating systems and layouts as well as trains local staff.   

Primary Duties:  Database creation and maintenance, system updates (internal and external).  Layout creation and maintenance, SOP creation and maintenance as well as train local staff. 

Qualifications Required:  MS office, CAD, Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience plus up to 3 years of experience in related field such as logistics, transportation and distribution or warehousing.  High attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines. 

Qualifications Desired:  3 plus years in related industry, preferably automotive.  Experience with Toyota and TPS.

Some of our daily functions include inventory management, shipping, project management and order processing.  

Work Schedule:  8:30 - 5:30, M-F flexibility required based on business needs 

Job Summary:  This position is responsible for customer service and communication to resolve issues while seeking new business opportunities. 

Primary Job Duties:  Travel to customers to resolve specific issues and review new requests.  Communicate with Corporate office in Georgetown and with customers via e-mail.  Travel to Corporate office in Georgetown for budget and other meetings.  Prepare reports (monthly sales, GP analysis, etc.).  Cross-train for other duties within 710 group.  

Qualifications Required:   Bachelor's degree and up to 3 years experience.  General computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.  Fluent in verbal and written business Japanese as well as have a solid understanding of Japanese business culture. 

Qualifications Desired:  J.D. Edwards software skills

JOB TITLE:  SALES SUPERVISOR                                                                           PRIMARY LOCATION:  TUPELO                                                                          DIVISION:  MACHINERY, ELECTRONICS AND AUTOPARTS                                     Location Description:  Established in 2008, the Mississippi office is part of the Auto Parts Group (512/961) and currently operates from offices in Georgetown, San Antonio, Chicago and Detroit.  We offer a variety of services for the import/export of component parts including inventory holding, repacking, relabeling, kitting, light assembly, inspection/sorting and delivery flexibility.  The group has export capabilities shipping from anywhere in the United States to Japan, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, UK, China, and Brazil. 

Work Schedule:  8:30 - 5:15, M-F flexibility required based on business needs 

Job Summary:  This position is responsible for managing new customers, the sales department, accounts receivable collection, customer support, and supporting the Warehouse/SAP liaison.  The position will manage new customers and provide general supervision of other Tupelo Auto Parts employees. 

Primary Job Duties:  Manage customer accounts.  Support Warehouse/SAP operations to ensure inventory and delivery accuracy.  Prepare monthly financial report for customers.  Communicate with TTC on a daily basis.  Develop new accounts.  Travel to customer facilities and to the corporate office in Georgetown.  General supervision of other Tupelo Auto Parts employees.   

Qualifications Required:   1 year training in Georgetown.  Associates Degree or equivalent and at least 3-6 years experience, including supervisory experience.  General computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. SAP or other database program. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. 

Qualifications Desired:      Bachelor's Degree preferred. Japanese language skills a plus.  Experience with SAP or some database or MRP system.  Customer service skills.  Logistics and production control experience.  Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.

Primary Job Duties:  Lead steel TMs in the warehouse, slitting, and blanking operation.  Direct, coordinate, and evaluate the steel operation.   Monitor the overall performance of steel blanking, warehousing, and slitting functions.   Monitor daily processing schedules and production reports.      

Qualifications Required:   Associates Degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years experience, including supervisory.  Ability to apply concepts of basic math, algebra and geometry. 

Qualifications Desired:  Bachelor's Degree.

Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, policies, operational procedures, process controls, standards, and work instructions.   Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
